Community Partner Spotlight: Lincoln Hygiene Network

Hygiene is more than a basic need—it’s a cornerstone of health, dignity, and independence. Thanks to our partnership with the Lincoln Hygiene Network, The HUB is now able to consistently provide essential hygiene products to the young adults we serve.

Before this partnership, access to hygiene supplies at The HUB was limited and unpredictable. Donations arrived sporadically and in small quantities, leaving many young people without the items they needed to care for themselves. Today, that gap has been filled.

Through the Lincoln Hygiene Network’s ongoing support, The HUB now offers a reliable supply of shampoo, conditioner, soap, deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes, laundry detergent, and menstrual hygiene products. This consistency has made a profound difference—not just in cleanliness, but in confidence, emotional well-being, and the ability to participate fully in daily life.

Young adults have shared that access to menstrual hygiene products has allowed them to attend school and work without interruption—something that wasn’t possible before. The impact of this partnership reaches far beyond the number of items distributed. It’s felt in the restored sense of dignity, the increased self-worth, and the ability to show up—clean, confident, and ready—for life’s opportunities.
