As we approach the end of the year, we’re reflecting on the hundreds of young people who have walked through the doors of The HUB Central Access Point for Young Adults — each carrying their own story, their own challenges, and their own hopes for the future.

At The HUB, our mission is simple yet profound: to provide unconditional support and access to services for young people as they become productive, independent, and active members of our community. Every day, that mission comes alive — in a warm meal, a listening ear, help securing vital documents, a bus pass to get to work, or support finishing a GED. It’s in these small, consistent acts of care that lasting change begins.

Michael’s story is just one example. After hearing about The HUB from a friend, Michael came to us facing homelessness and major barriers to education and employment. Since connecting with our staff, he has begun working toward his GED, obtained his vital documents, started his job search, and completed assessments for housing support. Michael comes to The HUB daily to access the resources and guidance he needs to move toward stability and independence.
